April ATV Getaway

In Muskoka and the Almaguin Highlands (2.5 hours north of Toronto) April is a great month to take a vacation.  Muskoka Cottage Rentals offer great rates for spring getaways for that perfect ATV Vacation.  Atving is growing so rapidly in the Almaguin Highlands it is hard to believe.  I am not surprised by the great response Sand Lake Cottages & Inn is getting from this sport.  ATV Trails are fantastic in the Almaguin area. 

I have enjoyed a few rides myself and I am looking forward to taking my kids out.  It would be old fashion fun like I had growing up.  Take the ATV out on the trails, start a small bonfire and have tea and a barbecue on the trails.  Let the kids skip rocks on the lake and just take in the fresh air and see some wildlife.  I can't think of a better way to spend the day with family and friends.

Sundridge Shooters Rendezvous Gun Show and Exhibition

Bring the family and enjoy The Shooters Rendezvous Gun Show and Exhibition in Sundridge, Ontario.
Sundridge is located in the Almaguin Highlands just north of Muskoka and near Algonquin Park.  On the 3rd weekend in April on Saturday from 9am - 3:30pm at the S.S.J Arena, Highway 11 in Sundridge get out and enjoy a fun day with family and friends.
There are lots of attractions to include challenge your P.A.L., challenge your boat operators licence exam, wildlife artists, gun displays, atvs, archery range, children's crossman air gun range, fishing supplies and so much more.    There are also seminars and events throughout the day for you to enjoy.
Admission for Adults is $5 and kids 12 and under pay nothing.  Lunch is also available.
